The Bookmarks portlet can be used by Administrators to create links to URLs and make them available to the entire Internet Campus Community.
The highest level of grouping displayed is called a set, which is similar to a header. The system offers easy sorting and ordering capabilities for the bookmarks within each set. You can also import bookmarks that may have been defined in your Learning Management System (LMS).
The Manage menu (which will be displayed after clicking on the Go to Main screen link) has the following options available:
Show/Hide Editing Tools
Add a Bookmark
Add a Set
Edit a Set
Click on the wrench icon and select the Preferences tab.
Select this checkbox to automatically display your bookmarks alphabetically. If you would like to manually order your bookmarks, this option must not be selected.
Select this checkbox to automatically display your bookmark sets alphabetically. If you would like to manually order your bookmark sets, this option must not be selected.
You may select this checkbox to display sets that are empty (that is, no bookmarks have been associated with a set).
